I have decided that I am not going to buy a car. A car means spending a lot of money consistently. Money that I would rather save in order to travel.

I can borrow my mum's car on weekends and week nights and it is far cheaper for me to take public transport to university.

By not purchasing a car I will save money on petrol, parking, maintenance and repairs, insurance and registration, and loan repayments. And I will be putting less pollutants into the atmosphere ;)....that is until I do have the need for my own car sometime down the line.
